Can I have my glasses on during funeral?

Come to a funeral with sunglasses on is not a social faux pas. It is understandable that great sadness temporarily turns your face, and you feel significantly better behind the dark "wall" of your glasses.  At the ceremony and the farewell to the deceased, however, you will do better if you take off your sun glasses. You may put them back when the ceremony is over.
